calamity has claimed me
marked me with its symbol that twists
chaos creeps within my midst
climbs my legs like vines
imprisons me seduces me
teaches me to blur the lines
that separate fact and faith
unhallowed ground
where i plan to rest
keep my bones and ashes safe
do my portrait up in sepia
o magician of the glass
do the dance of destruction
shake and stumble
bury my pillars of stone in the grass
show no mercy
to the hunters who pursued me
hounded me
until i fled
blood and flesh
are payment due
for the secrets
locked in my head
melted wax
